One of Austin’s landmark restaurants is about to have its grand re-opening: Ski Shores Café is finally back, and it’s even better than ever. Accommodating almost twice the diners as in its previous incarnation, Ski Shores Café will now be offering free WiFi wireless service to its more connected customers; dockside delivery to boaters looking for a great meal while afloat; live entertainment several times each week for the more musically inclined; a full service palapa bar for a real good time; and of course all the great food you first fell in love with Ski Shores Café over, such as catfish sandwiches, amazing fries, Border and Scooter burgers and lots more. In addition the menu is expanded with some new, great-tasting entrees when you are in the mood for something new.
Whether you sit indoors or out, on your boat or at the bar, Sky Shores Café is there for you with seven days-a-week service, and full to-the-table waiting. As Rick Engel, one of the two members of the management team said: “We are delighted to revive and update an Austin institution, keeping the great feel of Ski Shores intact, as a great place for families, boaters and our Lake Austin neighbors. This has always been a special place, and now it adds faster service and expanded attractions.”
